From Carrollton area: Take Carrollton Avenue to City Park where Carrollton ends. At the statue of P G T Beauregard and entrance to NOMA, Carrollton becomes Wisner Blvd. Take Wisner north, toward the Lake along Bayou St John, passing traffic lights at DeSaix, Harrison, and Fillmore. Turn right at next traffic light onto Robert E Lee Blvd; move over to left lane. Pass traffic lights at St Bernard and Paris. After passing through Paris Avenue traffic light, veer to the left onto Leon C Simon. When you cross a small bridge, you'll see the UNO campus on the left and a traffic light ahead. Take a left at the traffic light and enter the campus. Drive about two blocks until you see a service road and parking lots on the right. The service road ends at the Library, where WWNO is located. From the Garden District: Take St Charles Avenue toward Lee Circle. A half block before Lee Circle, take a left under the expressway overpass where signs say "To I-10." Stay to the left under the overpass until you see an up ramp to the Pontchartrain Expressway. When you enter the expressway, start looking for and take the I-10 East exit to Slidell on the right. Heading east on I-10 you'll pass exits to the French Quarter, Esplanade, and Claiborne. Take the next exit onto Elysian Fields Avenue and head north toward the Lake.
