Employment and Volunteer Opportunities at WWNO POSITION TITLE: Associate Manager of Programming and New Media RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for developing, implementing, managing and continually refining the content strategy for WWNO's multi-platform broadcast environment, utilizing broadcast, HD, Internet, and other media in support of WWNO's vision and mission. The successful candidate will develop current and new capabilities that expand WWNO's relevance and significance as a public media organization in the region. This position reports to the WWNO General Manager and is unclassified. The position supervises on-air staff. QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must be results-oriented, with a demonstrated understanding of public broadcasting and digital media, and a vision for these media to be utilized for effective public service, audience development, and revenue growth.
