Greetings WWNO - So glad to hear your broadcast in N.O. . . . Thanks a million and keep up the great broadcasts - come home soon!

Elizabeth F.

I caught Farrar Hudkins jazz show again tonight. I just wanted to say I think it sounded great. :) Please keep up the great programming.

I heard the good news this morning that the WWNO crew will be headed home at the end of the week. . . .
Thanks again for all your hard work and help, and welcome back!

Pete W.

. . . . I look forward to your return to New Orleans. It has been wonderful to hear your voices and have WWNO a part of my daily life - but it will be even better knowing you are broadcasting from UNO.

I am so glad you found a way to broadcast before you came back to UNO!  I really appreciate your dedication to the New Orleans community.

I'd like to thank you for the work you've been doing during this period. Especially have enjoyed the musical programming in evenings with the mix of classical and jazz.

Edward R.

I'm really happy you are coming back to New Orleans this Monday [12/19].  We've been faithfully listening to you from Georgia since you've come back on.

Thanks for the great job you are doing!

Dear WWNO Staff,
In all the unimaginable mayhem which surrounded this city and its
environs, one could take solace in only one most remarkable daily sane tonic, your station in exile. Without your remarkable effort and
personal sacrifice our lives would have been unremittingly bleak.  How to thank you? Thank you for filling my days with uplifting joy of the
classic repertoire. I wish all of you blessings and fulfillment in 2006.
Most sincerely,
Elfriede W., New Orleans

I was so happy to hear you say yesterday morning that the air staff would be returning to its home on the UNO campus next Monday! I can't wait to hear all of the shows that we've been missing because of your exile in Atlanta. We are looking forward to enjoying "Market Place", "This American Life", "Fresh Air", and "St. Paul Sunday", to name a few. Just hearing these shows on 89.9 will bring our area that much closer to the normality that we all seek. Oh, and PLEASE bring back "The Writer's Almanac" right away. Many of us so enjoy that break in the work day when we can pause for a moment and have someone read a poem to us. Keep up the great work! Fred, love the jazz from Zimple St....that's dedication!

I've been a supporter of wwno for years, and was glad to be in a position this year to make my usual contribution. I stand in awe of your staff, and was bowled over by how early the station returned to the air. It was a great comfort to have "my" radio station on the air, especially during the early, difficult days back in town. Overall I support the changes in the station's programming, but there has been one very major disappointment. I know many listeners enjoy Prairie Home Companion, but frankly, I can't stand it.

Kiki R

After my initial joy to hear you working out of Atlanta and then coming back again, my joy decreased substantially when it showed that Jazz is going to air every night in stead of classical music for at least a few nights. I will now have to look for other radio sources. Was that change really necessary ?

I want to pledge tomorrow for the fund raiser . . . & I am afraid I will forget. Is there anyway to remind me when to pledge so my donation will be matched. I want to send a valentine as I love your station.

Kathleen S

Dear WWNO, Just a note to let you know that this very moment I'm enjoying Fred Kasten's Saturday Night Jazz. I'm listening from Esquipulas, Guatemala.

Fr. David

I love WWNO Jazz! Fred's and Jack's...but can we have the lovely classical music back late at night!!! I miss it so much! Thanks!

Barbara J

Since you've replaced classical music with jazz, you can ask your university to help you out of your financial straits. I have no money for jazz. - Brad F
