Greater New Orleans Foundation launches Hurricane Isaac Fund
By Jason Saul
The Greater New Orleans Foundation has announced the creation of their Hurricane Isaac Fund, set up to support area nonprofits in their efforts to provide relief and recovery efforts in the aftermath of the storm.
Grants from the fund will go to support nonprofits in providing care for people with emergency needs, and longer-term projects such as housing, schools and future disaster resiliency, the Foundation said in a news release on its website.
More information, including information on how to donate to the fund, can be found on the Foundation's website.
