Gun Safety Course Offered in Lafourche

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office will offer a concealed-handgun training course on Jan. 19.

The class will be held at the National Guard Armory in Thibodaux from 8 a.m. to noon and at the Sheriff's Office's Raceland training range on Louisiana Highway 182 beginning at 1 p.m.

The Daily Comet reports the class costs $110.
