Hornets Sign Harris for Remainder of Season

The New Orleans Hornets have signed guard Terrel Harris for the remainder of the season, the team reported today in a press release.

The Hornets have struggled with injuries at the guard position as the season has wound down, losing backup guard Austin Rivers to a broken hand a few weeks ago. Guard Eric Gordon has yet to be cleared to play in back-to-back games by team physicians since returning to the lineup from a lingering knee injury.

Harris has appeared in seven Hornets games so far this season, in addition to seven games with the Miami Heat earlier in the year. He's averaged 1.0 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game over that time.

Jason Saul served as WWNO's Director of Digital Services. In 2017 he took a position at BirdNote, in Seattle.
