The Moth was back for July, with a monthly StorySLAM at Café Istanbul. The theme for this evening was "Pride".

StorySlams are an opportunity for anyone to submit their name, tell a story, and receive feedback from the audience in a non-confrontational environment. The Moth is storytelling, not standup, and participants are of of all ages and backgrounds, says producer Mallory Falk (who is also a freelance producer and reporter for WWNO).

The Moth StorySLAM is a non-confrontational environment where all are welcome to participate, says producer Mallory Falk.
