Tune in Saturdays for the Metropolitan Opera, live from New York

The wait is finally over... a brand-new season of live, Saturday afternoon radio broadcasts from The Metropolitan Opera begins at Noon on Saturday, December 2nd.

A complete performance of Verdi's sweeping "Requiem" begins this new season, with favorites including Mozart's "The Magic Flute" and Lehar's "The Merry Widow" airing in December.
The 2017-18 season of Saturday afternoon radio broadcasts runs through May, concluding with Gounod's "Romeo et Juliette" on May 5, 2018.

Help support these wonderful broadcasts to our community with a tax-deductible donation: wwno.org/donate.

This new season of Metropolitan Opera radio broadcasts can be heard locally on Classical 104.9 FM; on your HD radio at WWNO HD-2; online at wwno.org; and, via your smartphone with our WWNO app.

From all of us at New Orleans Public Radio, we invite you to listen in, starting this Saturday, Dec. 2nd at Noon!
