Blues & BBQ Festival Awarded $25k Grant

National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Chairman Rocco Landesman announced today that the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation is one of 832 non-profit organizations nationwide to receive an NEA Art Works grant. The Jazz & Heritage Foundation is recommended for a $25,000 grant to support the Foundation's Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival.

Chucho Valdes In Free Jazz Journey Concert, Nov. 19

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation will present the legendary Cuban jazz pianist Chucho Valdes and his band in a free Jazz Journey concert at the Joy Theater on Monday, Nov. 19.

The concert is the latest in a longstanding concert series from the Foundation that has brought many of the world's top jazz musicians to New Orleans.

Congo Square New World Rythms Festival
