An Update On Afghanistan

The situation is still ever-changing in Afghanistan.

Last week, a suicide bomber at the Kabul airportkilled dozens. This weekend the U.S. military carried out a strike. And this morning,rockets headed to the airport were struck down. 

POLITICO’s Lara Seligman released an exclusive report that suggests officials knew about the airport attack though the surrounding area was never secured.
