A new report finds that New Orleans’ eviction rate is nearly double the national average. Researchers looked at more than three years of eviction court cases. The study is a collaboration between the Jane Place Neighborhood Sustainability Initiative, a local housing rights non-profit, and Davida Finger, a professor at Loyola University’s College of Law.

Lens reporter, Michael Isaac Stein, talked with Finger and Breonne Dedecker, the program manager at Jane Place.

This interview is part of a collaborative partnership with The Lens.
