KTLN back on air after Francine knocked out power

NOAA

KTLN 90.5 FM, the New Orleans Public Radio signal for Houma and Thibodeaux, is back on the air after the station suffered a power outage during Hurricane Francine.

The outage interrupted the station's coverage of the hurricane, which hit southeastern Louisiana as a Category 2 storm and knocked out power to hundreds of thousands of businesses.

As of Tuesday afternoon, most of the homes and businesses that suffered outages had their power restored.
