Starr Homeplace will be featuring artwork from the community's common folk this Saturday. The exhibit will showcase creative work from regional blacksmiths, wood smiths and seamstresses. Joe Rolphe of Starr Homeplace says the exhibit will host many creative people. Rolphe says he hopes to see people who have never been there before.

"Our exhibits at Starr Homeplace are in 19 buildings on nine acres in the yard. And the exhibits have self-guiding tour signs on them that tell different things," Rolphe says.

Starr Homeplace serves as a museum in the "creative economy". Rolphe says the creative economy is anything that's not in the manufacturing or agricultural economy.

The exhibit begins at 8 am Saturday, June 11. It is open to the public.
