Ryan Bordenave

Ryan Bordenave serves in a dual capacity at WWNO.

In 2008, he joined the team as an Underwriting and Sponsorships Specialist. In this role he works with corporate and non-profit clients to develop their on-air strategic marketing while growing the station's underwriting support.

In 2023, he expanded his efforts to take on the role of Events Manager. He has produced events for Sea Change, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, Storycorps, the PRIMA Conference and a donor event with NPR host, Debbie Elliott.

Ryan offers a combined three decades of marketing, advertising, sponsorships and communications, 16 years of experience in broadcast radio media, and two decades of experience working in real estate development.

He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of New Orleans and is a licensed real estate professional. He also holds a certification in website development. He has successfully completed the renovation of several historic houses in New Orleans, two of which were featured in a regional preservation magazine.

In 2021, he served as a contributor for the documentary, “Closed for Storm,” the story of the Six Flags Theme Park in New Orleans.
