TriPod: New Orleans at 300 returns with a new TriPod Xtra segment. Host Laine Kaplan-Levenson sat down with writer Nathaniel Rich to talk about his newly released third novel, King Zeno.
The book of historical fiction takes place in New Orleans circa 1918, and centers around the construction of the Industrial Canal. The two sat down to talk about how Rich got interested in this infrastructure project, and time period, starting with the significance of setting his new novel in the year construction on the canal began.
