Diavolo | Architecture in Motion

This week on Inside the Arts, Diavolo | Architecture in Motion, brings a high energy performance to the Mahalia Jackson Theater, kicking off a new season of dance for the New Orleans Ballet Association.  We talk with Diavolo founder and artistic director Jacques Heim.

Then, the Storyville Collective and Delgado Community College Theater present The Laramie Project.  The work remembers Matthew Shepard, an openly gay student, who was the victim of a hate crime in Wyoming, that drew national attention 20 years ago. Storyville Artistic director Michael McKelvey joins us.

And, Loyola Presents: Coltrane Legacy, kicking off a new season of Jazz Underground.  New Orleans artists pay homage to jazz legend, saxophonist John Coltrane. Loyola Professor of Jazz Studies and acclaimed saxophonist, Tony Dagradi is our guest.

Airs Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m., Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m., and Thursdays at 8:35 a.m.
