This week on Inside the Arts, a new exhibit at the New Orleans Museum of Art about another city surrounded by water and famous throughout the world for its celebration of Mardi Gras. We look at the pageantry of Venetian life through paintings, Carnival masks and other treasures.

Then, the Mystic Krewe of Nyx rolls with legendary Soul Queen of New Orleans- Irma Thomas as Grand Marshall.

And, another celebration is brewing post-Mardi Gras…India Fest kicks off March 5th at NOMA.

Airs Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. and Thursdays at 8:45 a.m.
