Each week LPO Assistant Conductor Dr. Chelsea Gallo presents a one-hour selection of performances by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, drawing from its current season as well as gems from the archives. Dr. Gallo’s insightful and entertaining commentary makes each episode an illuminating and enjoyable hour for classical music newcomers as well as longtime patrons of the LPO.
In addition to her role with the LPO, Chelsea Gallo will also be Conductor of the Loyola Symphony. She comes to New Orleans after serving as Assistant Conductor of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Her extensive professional and academic experience includes these roles: Staff Conductor/Conducting Faculty of the Detroit Symphony Youth Orchestra; Conducting Fellow of The Dallas Opera Orchestra.
