The City of New Orleans could announce a plan to ease COVID-19 restrictions on businesses as early as the end of next week, according to Director of Communications Beau Tidwell.

Louisiana’s churches and businesses will be able to expand their capacity and some bars will be allowed to reopen under new restrictions in Phase 3 of Louisiana’s reopening plan announced by Gov. John Bel Edwards on Friday.

Fans won't be allowed inside the Superdome for either the season opener, or the following home game on Sept. 27.
