Using Gender-Neutral Pronouns Like 'They' Impacts Opinions On Gender, LGBT Equality, Study Finds

The use of the gender-neutral pronoun “they” has been gaining steam in the U.S. A group of researchers looked into what effect adopting this language can have.

Here and Now‘s Tonya Mosley learns more about a study on the matter in Sweden with Efrén Pérez (@EfrenPoliPsy), a professor of political science and psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Perez is also director of UCLA’s Race, Ethnicity, Politics and Society Lab.
