WWNO presents - Reinventing Radio: An Evening With Ira Glass - March 10th

Reinventing Radio: An Evening With Ira Glass Saturday, March 10, 8:00 p.m., McAlister Auditorium, Tulane University campus, New Orleans.

For fifteen years Ira Glass and his team at This American Life have pushed the boundaries of radio journalism, exploring people, places, issues, and ideas all across the country. Their adventure in radio story-telling has won a host of awards, and Ira received the highest individual honor in public broadcasting, the Edward R. Murrow Award.

Join Ira for a fascinating evening he leads the audience through the creation of This American Life and talks about the state of media today. Expect an evening that is sometimes humorous, sometimes serious, and certainly intriguing.

Proceeds from the show will benefit the WWNO Productions Fund, supporting creative locally produced radio journalism.

This American Life airs weekly on WWNO on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and on Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
