Releasing Condors into the Wild

It's been a very long time since the North American condor flew over the deserts and canyons of northern Arizona. Next month, biologists hope to change that. They will release several condors that were bred in captivity from a mountaintop hideaway. NPR's Howard Berkes went to Arizona to see the condors and their keepers. And he talked with local residents who feared endangered species in their neighborhood might change the way people live there.
