Rep. Coble Expresses Doubts Over Syria Plan

President Obama last night said he would delay military action in Syria and focus instead on a proposal for getting Syria to give up its chemical weapons.

Longtime Congressman Howard Coble (R-NC) has been opposed to a military intervention in Syria, because he says the costs to the U.S. would be too great.

He expressed doubts over the plan laid out in the president’s speech last night.

“When you bring the Russians into the game, you’re putting another fox in to guard the hen house,” he told Here & Now.
