Pew Poll Determines Top Policy Priorities

A new survey conducted by the Pew Research Center has determined that for the first time since President Obama took office, deficit reduction has slipped as a policy priority among the public.

The survey also ranked the top policy priorities for Republicans and Democrats, determined which policies see the greatest partisan differences and looked at the president’s overall public favorability.

Michael Dimock, vice president of research at the Pew Research Center, joins Here & Now’s to discuss the findings in the context of tonight’s State of the Union address.
