U.S. Employers Add 175,000 Jobs In February

Despite a blast of winter weather this past month, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today that employers added 175,000 jobs in February — an improvement from the previous two months.

Although the jobs number was better than economists had expected, the unemployment rate rose to 6.7 percent from 6.6 percent.
