Murdoch Appoints Sons To New Positions At 21st Century Fox

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch has appointed his oldest son, Lachlan, to become non-executive co-chairman of both 21st Century Fox and News Corp.

Murdoch’s other son, James, is also taking on a larger role after being named co-chief operating officer of 21st Century Fox.

Both promotions may indicate a big step in the succession planning of Murdoch’s media empire.
