Report Says Biomass Is Not An Ingredient In A Sustainable Food Future

A new report out by the World Resources Institute slams the widespread use and government promotion of biofuels as a way to reduce greenhouse gases. The report is part of the institute’s series “Creating a Sustainable Food Future.”

Princeton research scholar Tim Searchinger is the primary author of the new report. He discusses the conclusions with Here & Now’s Lisa Mullins.
