Eddie Murphy Was Supposed To Play Bill Cosby

Three days after Eddie Murphy’s disappointing appearance on the Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary special, a former colleague tweeted that the show did not go as planned.

Wednesday night, comedian Norm Macdonald tweeted for over an hour about the behind-the-scenes happenings at the anniversary show, including Eddie Murphy’s refusal to play the role of Bill Cosby that was created for him in the Celebrity Jeopardy skit.
