Remembering Sam Simon Of 'The Simpsons'

“The Simpsons” co-creator Sam Simon passed away on Monday at the age of 59, after a lengthy battle with colon cancer.

Simon left “The Simpsons” in 1993, and since then had become interested in animal rights and conservation causes.

After he was diagnosed with terminal colon cancer in 2012, he vowed to spend the rest of his life giving away his fortune to those causes.

One of the episodes Sam Simon wrote was 'The Raven'
