Rahm Emanuel Wins Re-Election As Chicago Mayor

Rahm Emanuel, the famously abrasive former adviser to Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, won Chicago’s first runoff mayoral election last night, after a campaign aimed at softening his image.

Now, Emanual must grapple with a $2 billion budget deficit and crime levels that are once again on the rise.
