Elie Wiesel, In His Own Words

Since his death on Saturday, tributes have poured in for Elie Wiesel. The Holocaust survivor lost his parents and younger sister in the Nazi death camps and devoted his life to delivering the message, “never forget.”

Here & Now remembers Wiesel in his own words, and Jeremy Hobson, who studied with Wiesel, adds his own memories.
