You might not recognize the name “Aardman Animations.” But chances are, you know their work.

From a cheese-loving inventor and his genius dog…

…to a group of chickens, yearning to be free…

…to a farm-dwelling, intelligent, adventurous sheep…

Aardman has been producing stop-motion animated classics for more than forty years. Its co-founders, Peter Lord and David Sproxton, have been making films together since they were sixteen years old.

They join us to talk about four decades of animating life.
