In Miami, public transit activists are remembering a leading young voice to their cause who tragically ended her own life last week after stepping in front of a train.
Alejandra Agredo was only 17. Along with attending public meetings to advocate for mobility, she had recently started the Miami Riders Alliance, a nonprofit to bring bus, train and bicycle riders together for more reliable transportation.
