National Cyber Security Alliance Offers Workshop In New Orleans

More than 4,000 city computers have been affected by Friday's cyber attack.
National Cyber Security Alliance

Over half of Louisiana’s employees work for small businesses, which increasingly rely on data collection to build their commerce. Protecting these employees, the businesses they work for and the customers they serve is the goal of the National Cyber Security Alliance. The Alliance, in conjunction with the New Orleans Business Alliance, is sponsoring a free one-day workshop to offer businesses the tools to protect data.

Karl Lengel spoke with Daniel Eliot of the NCSA about the workshops.

Karl Lengel has worked in the lively arts as an actor, announcer, manager, director, administrator and teacher. In broadcast, he has accumulated over two decades of on-air experience and is currently WWNO’s anchor for NPR’s “All Things Considered” and a host for “Louisiana Considered”. He holds a BS in Professional Management from Nova Southeastern University and an MFA in Film and Theatre from the University of New Orleans.
