Authorities say one person was killed and three others are still unaccounted for after a partial roof collapse at the under-construction Hard Rock Hotel New Orleans just after 9 a.m. Saturday.
New Orleans Fire Department Superintendent Timothy McConnell said at a press conference that the building is considered "unstable" with the potential for another collapse. "It's a very dangerous situation," said McConnell.
Eighteen people were sent to an area hosptial to be treated for injuries. Another person on the scene refused treatment for their injuries.
