Author Karen Abbott is our guest for the first part of today's show, and she joins us to promote and discuss her latest work Liar, Temptress, Soldier, Spy. Her book tells the true story of four women (a socialite, a farmgirl, an abolitionist, and a widow) who risked life and death to become spies during the American Civil War.
