From The Frontline: Stephanie Simon

When Stephanie Simon talks about her work during the pandemic, she likes to say she’s a “last responder.” Ms. Simon is an embalmer and mortician who currently works at the Rhodes Funeral Home. When the pandemic began, she, like many other New Orleanians, were overwhelmed by the number of people who needed care.
