New Orleans City Council Introduces "Quality of Life" Committee

New Orleans City Council

Life in New Orleans isn't always easy. Potholes, flooding and blighted homes give us a lot to complain about. And those complaints have been bogging down city council meetings, which often aren’t long enough to accommodate all of the New Orleanians who show up. So now the council is starting a special committee just to hear complaints - the Quality of Life Committee. WWNO's Karl Lengel talked to councilman Joe Giarrusso, who is heading up the committee, about what he hopes to accomplish.
