  • As WWNO’s Chief Engineer, Robert Carroll is responsible for the operation, maintenance, equipment purchases, and new construction related to the broadcast studio, transmitter, and satellite system. He has twenty-eight years of broadcast engineering experience, eleven of them as a chief engineer. He has served as Chief Engineer of WWNO since 1993, and has also served as chief engineer among other engineering roles, for WTUL-FM, WWL-TV, WWL-AM, WWL-FM, and WNNR-AM (now WGSO). He has been engineer and producer for the New Orleans Saints Radio Network since 1985. His most recent major accomplishments include installation of WWNO’s digital radio transmitter and renovation of WWNO’s production and master control rooms. He holds an FCC General Class Radiotelephone License and SBE Senior Radio and TV Engineer Certification. Robert is also a founding member of the Association of Public Radio Engineers (APRE).
  • Katy has worked as a substitute announcer at WWNO for approximately 10 years. She is a practicing lawyer at her firm, Caraway LeBlanc, LLC. She received her BA in Communications from Tulane University. Before law school at Loyola, she worked as a professional reporter, news anchor and talk show host at WWL radio. Caraway’s love for radio has been a mainstay throughout her life.
  • Bob has been a backup radio announcer for WWNO since 2006. An Emmy-winning sound designer with almost 40 years experience in radio, TV, and film production, Bob has hosted radio show formats from classical to country and oldies to light rock. After 15 years as Audio Center Director at WWL-TV, Dunn left commercial broadcasting and is currently a full-time instructor in Television and Radio at Delgado Community College. He earned his Master of Arts in Communications from the University of New Orleans, and graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans. Bob is a native of Augusta, Georgia.
  • Poppy is the host and executive producer of the weekly show, Louisiana Eats! Food personality, culinary teacher and author, Poppy Tooker is passionate about food and the people who bring it to the table.
