The historic Holy Name of Jesus Church is coming to life with song as Loyola University New Orleans presents the Grammy Award-winning a cappella ensemble, Chanticleer.

The world renowned all-male chorus delivers a promise of hope in 2022 as they perform “Awakenings,” a new concert created in response to the pandemic. Chanticleer bass-baritone Zachary Burgess joined Diane Mack to discuss the latest performance.

The New Orleans Ballet Association, NOBA, kicks off its new season of dance with the seductive moves of tango master German Corneo. Joined by a cast of extraordinary couples, the world’s leading tango ensemble, The Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires, will heat up the stage with one of the world’s most popular dance forms. NOBA executive director Jenny Hamilton joined Louisiana Considered with the details.
