Today on Louisiana Considered, we get an update on medical marijuana legislation at the state House. We also learn about an upcoming set of performances in Musicians’ Village and learn how the story of Anne Frank is being taught to children in New Orleans.

Medical marijuana was legalized by the Louisiana legislature roughly two years ago, but the rollout of programs has faced multiple roadblocks. State Rep. Joe Marino updates us on the latest medical marijuana legislation.

After a two-year setback due to COVID, a “symphony” of performances in Musicians’ Village is finally set for next fall. Assistant Professor of Art History at UNO, Dr. Anna Mecungi, along with artists Angel Nevarez and Valerie Tevere, tell us more about the living art exhibit that will move through several neighborhood blocks.

The Diary of Anne Frank has been used to teach children about the horrors of the Holocaust for decades. The Gulf States Newsroom’s Bobbi-Jeanne Misick tells us about a traveling exhibit in New Orleans using Frank's story to teach students about the present-day dangers of intolerance.
