Dr. Emily Clark is the author of The Strange History of the American Quadroon, about free women of color, and Masterless Mistresses, about the Ursuline nuns in New Orleans.  Emily is the Clements Chambers Benenson Professor in American Colonial History at Tulane.

Susan Tucker is the editor of Newcomb College, 1886-2006: Higher Education for Women in New Orleans.  As Curator of Books and Records, Susan oversees the Newcomb Archives and the Vorhoff Library.

Chris Wiltz's latest biography is The Last Madam: A Life in the New Orleans Underworld. Chris teaches creative writing courses at Tulane and Loyola Universities.
