Inside The Arts: Hard Living In The Big Easy, Summer Second Sunday, The Revolutionists

Sep 5, 2018

This week on Inside the Arts, a solo exhibit of mixed media works on paper by multi-disciplinary artist José Torres-Tama opens at the UNO Downtown Gallery in the St. Claude Arts District. "Hard Living in the Big Easy" honors the Latin American immigrant community and its contributions to the rebirth of New Orleans.

Then, a family friendly arts experience in St. Bernard Parish signals the end of summer. We visit the 3rd and final Summer Second Sunday at Crevasse 22|River House, a sculpture garden and museum in Poydras, Louisiana.

And, four powerful women take over NOMA's Great Hall as the NOLA Project presents Lauren Gunderson's The Revolutionists. It's a female powered comedy set during the French Revolution.

Airs Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m., Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m., and Thursdays at 8:45 a.m.
