Dearborn City Council President-Elect Weighs In On Arab American Majority

Dearborn, Mich., has one of the highest populations of Arab Americans in the United States. This week, for the first time in the city’s history, residents voted in a majority Arab American city council. Four out of the seven council seats will be held by Arab Americans.

Susan Dabaja was the top vote-getter, making her the president-elect. She joins Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson.
