What is it that makes someone stop and make a decision to help a stranger in need? That’s a question we’re exploring on this Thanksgiving Eve, with a story about a friendship formed and put to the ultimate test in less than 30 seconds.
That’s how long it takes to fall 6,000 feet at around 40 miles an hour. Shirley Dygert and Dave Hartsock tell the story of the day they met in the summer of 2009 on an airfield in Texas.
