California Prisons Get Reprieve On Deadline To Reduce Overcrowding

Three federal judges are giving California’s prison system another two years to shed nearly 6,000 inmates from its already overcrowded inmate population.

From the Here & Now Contributors Network, Scott Detrow of KQED reports that the ruling is a win for California governor Jerry Brown.
