Jazz clarinetist Andy Biskin worked for the seminal American ethnomusicologist Alan Lomax right out of college.
For his latest recording, Biskin turns to Lomax’s classic collection, “Folksongs of North America,” and arranges some of them for reeds, drums and three trumpets.
