The New Orleans Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint Friday, September 21, the department said in a press release.
The checkpoint, manned by the NOPD's Traffic Division, will take place in an undisclosed area somewhere in Orleans Parish beginning at approximately 9 p.m., and will last until about 5 a.m. Saturday morning, the department said.
Motorists should experience minimal delays, according to NOPD, and should have proper documentation if requested, including proof of insurance and a driver's license.
