A 15-year-old student has been arrested after allegedly saying he would kill others at West Monroe High School.
West Monroe police say the boy was arrested Sunday. They say there was no indication he had taken any steps toward carrying out the threat allegedly made Friday afternoon.
Ouachita Parish School Superintendent Bob Webber tells The News-Star the student will probably be recommended for expulsion.
School officials and Ouachita Parish sheriff's deputies were at the school before classes began on Monday.
KNOE-TV reports the student is being held at Green Oaks Detention Center.
