Local Fundraiser Brings Awareness To Alzheimer's Disease

Paramount Health Care sponsors a unique fundraiser to support local initiatives for Alzheimer's awareness.

The  Rhythm and Wine for Alzheimer's Wine Pull is a fundraiser to support the northern Louisiana chapter of the  Alzheimer's Association. Bottles of wine  will be raffled off by various community sponsors.

Proceeds from the event will fund the Walk to End Alzheimer's® this fall. The wine pull was inspired by personal experiences that Alana Babb and Kelly Green share with Alzheimer's.

Green says the fundraiser will be a great way to bring awareness and support to the disease and the Alzheimer's Association. "We're excited to join with the community and support this any way we can do that. We're very excited to help," Green said.

Musical entertainment will be provided by The Water Boys. The wine pull will be held at Landry Vineyards on Thursday, June 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at rhythmandwineforalzheimers.com.
